Instructions
1. To use the TV & Cable Factbook Online, you must
first log in.
To
log in, enter your email address and the password given to
you by your sales representative or the password included in
the email you received when you signed up for a free trial
(you can get a free trial HERE). The
logon area is located in the upper left portion of TV & Cable
Factbook: Online home page.)
(Note:
Your subscription allows only one person to log in using
your User Name and Password. Once you are logged in, if someone
else tries to log in using the same User Name and Password,
he or she will get an error message that says, "This
logon is in use.")
2. To begin using the Factbook: Online, click Search near the top of the left
navigation bar. A list of five choices will appear:
· Cable
TV
· TV Stations
· Ownership
· Services |
Click
on the database you want to search.
3. Searching the Cable Database
Enter
data and/or select a value from any of the available fields.
Click Search at the bottom of the screen to start your query.
Click
on any listing to view the details.
4. Searching the TV, Owners and Services Databases
The
procedures for searching the TV, Owners and Services volumes
are essentially the same as Searching the Cable Volume outlined
previously. The primary differences between them are the available
search fields.
